Welcome to the Ladies section of Clevedon golf club, we are always pleased to welcome new members.
Upon joining us we will ensure you have a good introduction to our club and your integration into the Ladies section is a positive experience.We have a dedicated New Members Liaison Officer to help newcomers integrate and meet playing partners of similar abilities.We have regular roll up times available for us to play together.
Our golf club has an active and social ladies section with around 80 playing members, we are a vibrant and friendly section where we have a good balance between social and competitive golf.
We play our ladies specific competitions on Wednesdays throughout the year and we have additional ones on a Sunday in the summer months.In addition our club competitions are on Tuesdays and Saturdays of which are open to all.
These competitions range from Individual qualifying Stablefords and Medals through the summer and we have a focus on more fun team events in the winter.
We have two league Teams in the ' Bristol and District Lady Golfers Alliance’ our A team is in Division 2 and our B team is on Division 4
Players are selected in Handicap order as per the BDGLA Rules and the matches are played off scratch.
For women with higher handicaps we have several friendly matches a year, which are played against other local clubs and offer both competitive and social golf.

Ladies Overnighter at St Pierre Chepstow - June 30th -July 1st
Lady Captains day - August 14th
Ladies Away Day at Cumberwell Park - September 19th
Ladies Xmas Dinner - December 12th
This year our Golf club is one of a few in Somerset that has signed up to the R&A Women In Golf Charter. We believe that it is imperative to enable more women and girls to enjoy this sport and that they feel they have the opportunities to do so. The charter is available to see on our website.
