Clevedon Golf Club has an active and sociable Ladies’ section with around 80 playing members. We Welcome Ladies of all abilities and pride ourselves on being a Vibrant and Friendly section of The Club, where you can enjoy Social and Competitive Golf.
We play Ladies Competitions on Wednesday mornings throughout the year as well as once or twice a month on a Sunday during the summer. Our competitions range from individual qualifying competitions in the summer, to fun team events in the winter, followed by socialising in the Bar afterwards.
The weekend Club competitions are open to all, and we hold social mixed events each Bank Holiday.
We have two League Teams in the Bristol and District Lady Golfers Alliance.
Our A team is in Division 2 and our B team is in Division 5.
Players are selected in Handicap order as per The BDLGA Rules and the matches are played off scratch.
For Women with a Higher Handicap we have several Friendly matches a year, which are played against other local clubs and offer Both Competitive and Sociable Golf.

Our Ladies’ section is always pleased to welcome new members, regardless of Golfing ability. We have a New Members Liaison Officer to help newcomers settle in and meet playing partners. During the winter, we have a regular Friday Roll up for ladies of all abilities to play together.
