Clevedon Ladies 4 BBB Open success

Gusting showery weather set the competitors a stern test in Clevedon Ladies Open four-ball better ball competition. The damp conditions did not prevent the competitors in the Ladies Open producing some high quality golf.

Visitors, Rosemary Bickham and Sue Thompson from Yeovil set a fine pace and were leaders at the turn but were unable to maintain their form on the back nine allowing home players Lizzie Stephens and Vonnie Rendall to take the honours with 40 points.
Kathy Sheills and Janice Truscott from Stockwood Vale finished in second place (39 points).
