Captains Day

Thank you all for your support on Captain's day. The weather was great and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. A special thanks to the Juniors who stood in at the last minute for injuries and no shows and I was delighted to see that three of them featured in the prizes. (see the attached results)

The raffle was very well supported, so thanks to everyone who donated a prize and we will be able to put over £400 in the Captains Charity fund.

For those of you who missed Fred Wedlock, he was terrific and had us rolling in the aisles.

Look forward to seeing you at the next Captain's supper with Steve Bullimore and Steve Trebble on 11th July. This will be a curry night with a choice of Prawn Thai green Curry, Lamb Bhuna and Chicken Ticka. Nan Bread Popadom and Thai Salad. Sweet will be a fruit roulade.

The following Saturday 18th July we will be holding a race night. Tickets will be £10 including a champagne reception and seafood buffet. Races can be sponsored at £40 (to include two tickets) and horses at £10. We will be seeking your support over the next few weeks.
